When the Wessels returned to the United States, they decided to fill their hometown's pretzel vacuum, and the Milwaukee Pretzel Company was born. In Munich, pretzels were everywhere, while back home in Milwaukee, authentic Bavarian-style pretzels were nowhere to be found. All prices include shipping and handling.ĭuring a yearlong stint in Munich, Milwaukee-based married couple Katie and Matt Wessel noticed many similarities between Bavaria's blue-collar beer culture and Milwaukee's middle-class Midwestern market. Prices are pretty good as well, although I remember use to being able to pay a quarter for a pretzel.A salty-sweet dessert-snack is a compelling thing and one that's very difficult to resist. Shoppes are usually pretty clean and well kept. If your not a peoples person I get it, but don’t work front office jobs, go get a back office job where you can hate it and show it all you want. You usually get an attitude, or the person looks as if they hate their life and working at their location. Outside of the app, the overall quality of the pretzels are really good, the customer service from workers is usually kind of on the crappy side. Can y’all fix this? If so thank you, if not I’d part ways with even having a rewards app if I were you. I spend the money and don’t get the points y’all promise, nor the rewards when I reach said point amount. This is frustrating because I often go to the pretzel factory for various reasons wether it be for a holiday tray, for a birthday party, just for my kids, or even for their sports teams that I coach. I’ve never seen a rewards app solely for rewards not allow you to redeem your points at the designated point amounts they say you can for. The app makes me wait until the biggest reward of 500 points to redeem. a 50 point rivet shaker, or a pretzel dog. Then on top of that the app does not update being able to redeem the rewards. I have had 196 points for forever now I’ve order a lot, from multiple pretzel trays, to pretzels for my kids, or their sports teams that I coach. The Rewards App is teeth cringing material!Īs an avid rewards member user for all types of stores, it baffles me when I use the “Philly Pretzel Factory” app.
